Coming into the season, no one would've expected to see the late October showdown between Oregon and Northwestern featuring the 20th ranked Wildcats facing an unranked Ducks squad, but that's the new reality. David Braun's team has gotten off to a 6-1 (3-1) start to the season, while Dan Lanning's team has fallen apart, falling to 4-3.

On one sideline will be Offensive Coordinator Chip Kelly, who will be looking to light up the Autzen Stadium scoreboard, this time from the visitors' sideline, while the Ducks are breaking in a new playcaller after firing Drew Mehringer. While Oregon's hopes of making the College Football Playoff have seemingly vanished, the Ducks can still play spoiler in this game, and the effort level will tell a ton about the culture Dan Lanning has built in Eugene.

How to Watch Northwestern vs. Oregon

Oregon will kick off the Halloween matchup against No. 20 Northwestern at 12:30 PM PT or 3:30 PM ET for fans looking to watch from the East Coast. Fans who won't be in attendance for the game will be able to catch the broadcast on the NBC streaming service Peacock. A subscription to Peacock to watch the game live starts at $12.99 a month or $129.99 for the year.

Weather

Fans attending the game and tailgating in Eugene will be treated to typical fall weather with temperatures in the mid-40s in the morning, rising into the low 50s when the game kicks off. Wind shouldn't be a factor with projected speeds of just 2 MPH, while there's just a 5% chance of rain in the late afternoon.

Injuries

The first Big Ten availability report of the week will be released on Wednesday Night, but the Oregon Ducks have been ravaged by the injury bug this season. The Ducks had already lost offensive lineman Trent Ferguson and safety Aaron Flowers for the season, and this week quarterback Dante Moore joined them after some optimism that he could return from his concussion.

Oregon's first availability report will carry a ton of intrigue as Messiah Hampton, Jalen Lott, Immanuel Iheanacho, and others all missed the game without an injury earlier in the week along with Evan Stewart who was charged with a DUII earlier in the week. The Ducks' fans should also monitor wide receiver Jeremiah McClellan who is nearing the end of the initial recovery timeline for his broken foot.

Odds

As of Tuesday Night, the Oregon Ducks enter the matchup as 3.5-point favorites (-110) over Northwestern, while the points total is set at 46.5 points, according to the FanDuel Sportsbook. The Ducks are -160 money line favorites to win the game, while Nebraska is currently the underdog at +134.
