The Ducks have a single bye in 2026, finishing with eight straight games in a row. The bye comes October 3rd after a September 26 road tilt at USC.

In November, the national championship contenders finish at Ohio State, home against Kyle Whittingham and Michigan, at Michigan State, which looks to be an improved team under new head coach Pat Fitzgerald, followed by the now-traditional rivalry game, November 28 at Autzen Stadium against Washington and captive third-year quarterback Demond Williams.

The September openers have some bite. Boise State always plays the Ducks tough, and Oklahoma State made massive changes with North Texas coach Eric Morris taking over, installing a high-octane offense featuring his old QB Drew Mestemaker, who threw for 4,379 yards and 43 touchdowns last season with the Mean Green.

In all Morris brought in 54 transfers, a complete overhaul of the team Oregon crushed 69-3 last season.

So too with USC, Oregon's week four opponent and likely a Top 25 team. They'll be looking to avenge last year's 42-27 loss in Eugene. Lincoln Riley restocked the Trojans with the nation's No. 1 recruiting class while bringing in Penn State edge Zuriah Fisher and 6-3, 184 wideout Terrell Anderson from North Carolina State.

Of course the Buckeyes in November will be the game that's circled nationally, featuring one of the best passing combinations in the country in Julian Sayin to Jeremiah Smith. The Buckeyes have brought in some horses to restock their defense, looking to employ the "Grown Man Theory" of roster construction that's been so successful for Curt Cignetti and Indiana.
