Oregon Ducks commit Dakota Guerrant keeps showing why he's a 5-star recruit

As things currently stand, Oregon holds the Nation's 4th ranked recruiting class in the Country, headlined by a duo of 5-star recruits. The Ducks' top-ranked recruit is wide receiver Dakota Guerrant who ranks as the 21st ranked player in the Country, and when you turn on the film, it's really easy to see why.

According to the Rivals Industry Recruiting Rankings, Dakota Guerrant is the 5th ranked wide receiver in the Country, and it's hard to believe there are 4 wide receivers better than him. In Dakota Guerrant's latest game, he was impossible to stop scoring as a receiver twice and a returner while making big plays after the catch.

Oregon football is getting a special wide receiver talent in Dakota Guerrant, and he'll have a chance to make an instant impact upon arriving on campus. The Ducks have started to build a pipeline of 5-star wide receivers, and players like Guerrant will get to see that Dan Lanning's not afraid to play freshmen early when Jalen Lott, Gatlin Bair, and Messiah Hampton make plays against Boise State.

The thing that's stood out the most about Dakota Guerrant as a recruit isn't the absurd athleticism or his speed. Instead, Dakota Guerrant is an incredible route runner for his age, pairing nuance with elite athletic ability, which should allow him to remain an elite playmaker at the college level, where everyone is a top notch athlete.
