After a hard-fought battle against a fellow top-20 team, the Oregon Ducks lost to the Purdue Boilermakers in their Big Ten matchup. Following the loss, the Ducks dropped two places in the latest AP Top 25 Poll to the No. 15 spot in the country.

Meanwhile, the Boilermakers jumped up three spots to No. 17 in the nation as the conference continued its impressive start to the season.

The Big Ten lays claim to six of the Top 25 spots with Michigan State earning the highest ranking at No. 12 in the country. The No. 19 Illinois Fighting Illini, the No. 20 Michigan Wolverines, and the No. 24 Wisconsin Badgers round out the rest of the conference members in the top spots.

The Maryland Terrapins, who currently sit at 14-5 overall and in eighth place in the conference, are the only Big Ten member who received votes but did not appear in the Top 25.

With a chance to bounce back from the disappointing loss to Purdue, Oregon is set to host its former Pac-12 rival turned Big Ten foe, Washington on Tuesday, Jan. 21 – just three days after the Ducks' loss to the Boilermakers.

So far this season, the Ducks dominated non-conference play with a perfect 11-0 record against non-Big Ten opponents. However, Oregon's conference matchups have proved slightly difficult for the Ducks to get a grasp on as they have already lost to UCLA, Illinois, and Purdue.

Currently, Oregon resides in the No. 7 spot in the conference with Michigan State, Purdue, Michigan, Wisconsin, Illinois, and Indiana ahead of the Ducks.

The No. 15 Oregon Ducks and the unranked Washington Huskies are scheduled to tip off at 8 p.m. PT from Matthew Knight Arena on Tuesday, Jan. 21.
