Just last week, the Oregon Ducks' flawless record and incredible run against conference opponents came to an end as they lost to the Indiana Hoosiers.
Now, the Ducks are looking to bounce back as they visit the Rutgers Scarlet Knights. However, one key piece of the offensive depth chart was listed as "OUT" on Oregon's availability report ahead of the game.
Jayden Limar, who had the second-most rushing yards for the Ducks through the first six games of the season, was one of six players who would not be available for Oregon on Saturday evening.
Limar only trailed Dierre Hill Jr. on the running back rankings, earning 249 yards and three touchdowns on 42 carries. Hill, a freshman RB, had earned 267 yards and two touchdowns heading into Oregon's game against Rutgers.
Veteran wide receiver Evan Stewart was still listed as out, and fellow wideout Kayden Kasper was listed as "Out for Season" after suffering an apparent foot injury. So, needless to say, the offensive unit was missing a few players for the Big Ten matchup.

Fortunately for Oregon, stars like Hill, quarterback Dante Moore, and wide receiver Dakorien Moore were far from the injury list, expected to be at full health for Oregon's get-right game on Saturday.
QB Moore is not just an elite passer; he has also run for 95 yards this season, landing him at fifth on the team's rushing column, trailing Hill, Limar, Noah Whittington, and Jordan Davison.
Just a couple of weeks earlier, transfer running back Makhi Hughes left the program to eventually enter the transfer portal. Despite his highly touted status in the portal, Hughes had earned just 70 yards and zero touchdowns on 17 carries by the time he parted ways from the Ducks.
No. 8 Oregon and unranked Rutgers were scheduled to kick off at 3:30 p.m. PT on Saturday, Oct. 18, and the game would be broadcast on the Big Ten Network.
