Nashville Christian quarterback Jared Curtis announced yesterday on social media that he will be committing on May 5 between Georgia and Oregon. He's a 5-star pro-style passer, 6-3, 215, the No. 3 quarterback and No. 4 prospect in the nation.

Oregon baseball reached No. 10 in the country after winning a weekend series over Rutgers. The Ducks are 7-2, first place in the Big Ten and 19-5 overall. They won Sunday's series decider 4-2 behind six innings of two-hit pitching by Will Sanford. He struck out five. A two-out, two-run double by catcher Chase Meggers got the Ducks the lead in the bottom of the second. Santiago Garcia earned the save with an inning and a third of scoreless relief.
Catcher Braiesey Rosa's blasted a walk-off homer to left field on the first pitch of the bottom of the seventh inning with the score tied 3-3 to earn Oregon softball a weekend sweep over Illinois. Lyndsey Grein (16-1) got the win with two innings of scoreless relief, striking out three. The Ducks are 29-3 on the year, 4-1 in the Big Ten. They travel to New Jersey for a weekend series with Rutgers this Friday.

Ted Larue ranks the toughest games on Oregon's fall football schedule on That Show Out West. A road trip to Penn State on September 27 looms as a measuring stick with quarterback Drew Allar and running backs Kaytron Allen and Nicholas Singleton running it back. The Ducks travel to Iowa, another tough road environment on November 8th.
