Oregon Football resumes spring practice
The Ducks resumed spring practice Tuesday in Autzen Stadium, and afterward Dan Lanning, Bryce Boettcher and Iapani "Poncho" Laloulu took questions from reporters.
They will practice Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday for the next four weeks leading up to the Spring Game in Autzen Stadium on April 26 at 1:00 p.m. PDT. Admission is free with a suggested donation of two items of nonperishable food for Food For Lane County.
Lanning said the Ducks will scrimmage on Saturday April 12 and 19.
"Great athleticism and size. God doesn't make very many people like that, right? And he's got a great spirit every single day. He has the right mindset and the right attitude, this guy that played basketball in high school, and then kind of, he's grown into a football player. And with that size and strength, it's something that we really want to take advantage of.Lanning on new left tackle Isaiah World

Oregon Softball resumes Civil War
Melyssa Lombardi's 31-3 juggernaut climbed to No. 5 in the ESPN NCAA softball rankings after a weekend sweep of Rutgers. Wednesday they travel up 99E to Corvallis for a single game against the Beavers, 6:00 p.m. PDT at Kelly Field on the OSU campus.
It's a tune-up for a weekend series with Michigan, tied with the Ducks for third place, 6-1 in the Big Ten.
Oregon Football Recruiting: Two setbacks, a dry spell, massive visits
Unsurprising but a move in the wrong direction, Tuesday four-star defensive tackle Tomuhini Topui completed his flip by committing to USC after a weekend visit. He'd decommitted from Oregon a few days before.
Quick and powerful, Topui is the No. 127-rated overall prospect in the 2026 class and No. 5 defensive tackle, 6-3 290. The chase for the interior defensive line monster may not be over, however. The Ducks will strive to keep channels open for his rare combination of size and agility.
Another Mater Dei star, 6-5 receiver Chris Henry Jr. has shut down his recruitment. He'd made several visits to Eugene but declared yesterday, "Officially shutting my recruitment down i'm 100% locked in and ready to work!!"
Henry grew up in Ohio and has developed a strong relationship with tOSU offensive coordinator Brian Hartline.
With spring practice in full swing the Ducks have an impressive calendar of top-drawer visits. Good news and improved momentum should follow.
Position battle at cornerback heats up
Liam Donnan of Autzen Zoo has a thorough breakdown of the competition for the two-deep among Oregon's defensive backs. It's an intriguing story to follow over spring practice, then witness at the Spring Game.
The Ducks have improved speed, length and raw cover skills in the secondary, but just a few candidates with experience. Position coach Chris Hampton has an imposing challenge weeding out who's ready among veteran transfers and blue-chip underclassmen.
