Celtics reunite former Oregon stars Payton Pritchard and Chris Boucher
Seven-year NBA veteran and two-time league champion with the Toronto Raptors Chris Boucher joined Duck teammate Payton Pritchard this week as the Celtics signed the 6-9 power forward to a veteran minimum deal after trading forward Georges NIang to the Utah Jazz.
Pritchard and Boucher starred on 2016-17 Oregon team that made it to the Final Four with a 33-6 record.
According to Shams Charina of ESPN, "Boucher departs Toronto where he has the all-time franchise record in points, rebounds, blocks, minutes and games played off the bench. He also was the Raptors' last remaining member of the 2019 NBA championship team."
Pritchard won the NBA Sixth Man Award last season, averaging 14.3 points and 3.8 rebounds per game off the bench.

Ducks scrimmage today, but Oregon football fans have to wait 21 more days
Dan Lanning has the Ducks operating under a cloak of secrecy as he tries to avoid sign-stealing, clandestine scouting or other chicanery leading up to August 30 and the opener in Autzen Stadium against Montana State.
As with the rest of Fall Camp today's workout is closed to the public, although there will be brief clips and player interviews, plus the "Under Construction" video series to tease out part of the story.
