Kelly turns up an Ace
Oregon guard Deja Kelly, passed over at the WNBA draft Monday, signed a training camp contract with the Las Vegas Aces on April 18th.
The three-time all-ACC guard poured in 2,247 points in her college career and led the Lady Webfoots in scoring this season with 12.2 points per game. The 5-8 mid-range shooter from San Antonio, Texas is a former McDonald's All-American and Texas State Gatorade Player of the Year.
She spearheaded the Ducks drive into the Round of 32 at the NCAA Tournament before a 59-53 second-round loss to Duke at Cameron Indoor Stadium.

Romero, Ducks hunt Big Ten Trophy
At the Big Ten Championship at Bulle Rock Golf Course in Havre Grace, Maryland, Kiara Romero and her teammates stalk the leaderboard with the final round set for Sunday.
Romero fired a two-under-par 70 Saturday to tie for the tournament lead at three under. As a team, the Ducks sit third after two days at even par, three strokes back of Michigan State at -3.
Romero stands in a three-way tie for the individual lead. She's currently the No. 5-ranked amateur in the world, the U.S. Girls' Junior Champion in 2023.
Pritchard, Boston Celtics begin title defense
Pro Duck and likely NBA Sixth Man of the Year Payton Pritchard and the Boston Celtics begin defense of their NBA Championship today with Game 1 of their first-round series with the Orlando Magic, 12:30 p.m. PDT on ABC.
Pritchard has been an igniter for the Celts this season, coming off the bench to score 14.3 points a game with 3.8 rebounds and 3.5 assists.
Spring Game in just five days
Oregon fans get their first look at the 2025 Ducks next Saturday April 26th at 1 p.m. PDT in Autzen Stadium when the Ducks take the field for the annual Spring Game, televised on the Big Ten Network.
Admission is free with a suggest donation of nonperishable food items to Food for Lane County. It's a first opportunity to see new Ducks Makhi Hughes, Dakorien Moore, Isaiah World and Dillon Thieneman in action, get a sense of how the Quack Attack is reloading after sending a dozen players to the NFL draft, also this week beginning Thursday.
It's also the climax of a massive recruiting push by the Ducks, a star-studded lineup of visitors that includes 5-stars like offensive tackle Jackson Cantwell, edge rusher Richard Wesley. Safety Jett Washington visited this weekend.
