Baseball rebounds with a win over No. 3 OSU
Grayson Grinsell (7-1) crafted another stellar Friday night pitching performance as Mark Wasikowski's ball club took game one of a three-game set with No. 3 Oregon State at PK Park.
Grinsell worked his way through the potent Beaver lineup, scattering four hits and striking out five over seven strong innings, maintaining his composure after OSU struck for two runs in the third for an early lead.
Hitting eighth in the UO order second baseman Ryan Cooney has proven to be a tough out and a clutch producer. His two-run double down the left field line gave Oregon a 3-2 lead in the fourth.

The Fighting Ducks take the field for game two after the Oregon Spring Football Game Saturday, first pitch at 4:05. They've reached 28-12 on the season with a chance to improve their seeding in the NCAA tournament. The tussle with OSU continues Sunday, then gets extended with a Tuesday night game in Corvallis.
