Ducks add four-star edge rusher Prince Tavizon a year early

Lincoln High San Diegon edge rusher Prince Tavizon, 6-4, 245, announced Tuesday that he's reclassifying to 2026 while remaining committed to the Ducks. He committed originally on June 1st, but this coming season will be his last year of high school football.

Tavizon has the size and physical maturity to make it work, a player 247Sports analyst Greg Biggins calls, "a rocked out 6-foot-3, 240 pound edge with tremendous raw power and strength."

Lincoln High has become a recruiting hotbed for the Ducks, the school that brought them Akili Smith Sr., Akili Smith Jr. and cornerback Jahlil Florence.

The high-energy edge rusher gives Oregon 15 commitments in the 2026 class which currently ranks No. 9 in the country at On3 Sports.

Though Tavizon remains committed he's still taking visits, so there's still some work to do in the relationship.

Duck fans prepare to GET LOUD

It's 45 days until the season opener against Montana State. Big Ten Media Days begin next Tuesday in Las Vegas with the Ducks scheduled for July 23, represented by Matayo Uiagalelei, Kenyon Sadiq and Bryce Boettcher. Practice begins 30 days before the first game.

Autzen boasts a well-deserved reputation as one of the best environments and loudest stadiums in college football.

TJ Bamba heats up off the bench for the Nets

In just 17 minutes at the NBA Summer League former Oregon guard TJ Bamba dropped in 7 points for Brooklyn as they lost 97-93 to the Knicks. Bamba added a rebound and went 1-1 at the free throw line.

In the Trail Blazers' 93-87 win over the Pelicans, Keeshawn Barthelemy did not play. Monday night Brandon Angel logged just five minutes for the Phoenix Suns summer squad, pulling down one rebound but taking no shots.
