Ducks VB posts win No. 1000
Oregon dispatched Colorado State in five sets Saturday night at Matthew Knight Arena, the 1,000th victory in program history.
The match went 25-20, 25-18, 17-25, 19-25, 15-9, bringing the Ducks to a 5-0 start in 2025.
Junior opposite hitter Valentina Vaulet led the 3-2 win with 17 kills. A Michigan transfer from Cordoba, Argentina, she's been a consistent force for the Oregon attack in their undefeated start. She also added 7 digs, 2 blocks and 2 service aces.
Outside hitter Ksenija Tomic stormed the nets for 15 kills and 4 blocks, while Alanah Clemente contributed 10 kills, 4 blocks and 3 digs. Natalie Fukumoto hit the floor for 20 digs. Cora Taylor set up the hitters with 34 assists.

After Justin Herbert's heroics in the Chargers 27-21 opening win over Kansas City in Sao Paulo, Brazil, the rest of the Pro Ducks take the field today with Bo Nix and the Broncos taking on the Titans in Mile High Stadium at 1:05 p.m. PT on Fox.
Dillon Gabriel has switched back to his old jersey number, 8. after winning the backup quarterback job in Cleveland, though he's not expected to play today when the Browns host Joe Burrow and Cincinnati.
Men's Golf falters at Sahalee Players Championship
Golf is a hard game. The Ducks are dead last after two rounds in Seattle, 28 over par, 12th in a field of 12 schools. Ramil Saelim rallied the squad with a 2-under round on Saturday, five shots off the lead in 18th.
