A statement was just made by the Oregon football team with its dominant win over Texas Tech in the quarterfinals of the College Football Playoff. While at times things were far from perfect, the Ducks barely broke a sweat in posting a 23-0 victory. Props to the defense for looking so strong.

3 things Oregon must correct before taking on the winner of Indiana-Alabama

Now, the Ducks are getting ready to take on the winner of Indiana vs. Alabama in the national semifinals. Yup, the Eugene side is one win away from getting back to the National Championship Game. Is it too early to start dreaming for fans?

Nope. Following the win over the Red Raiders, Oregon has seen its CFP title odds skyrocket, with the Ducks now set at +370. Will Dante Moore and Co. keep the good vibes going? That's what everyone in the Pacific Northwest is hoping for, as this team is looking great at the right time.

Oregon holds +370 odds to win the natty after beating Texas Tech

Those +370 odds are pretty eye-opening and it speaks to the chances Oregon has to win it all. For a long time now, it feels like people have been sleeping on the Ducks a bit, as a ton of the focus has been on Ohio State and Indiana.

However, the Buckeyes totally dropped the ball on Wednesday night, suffering a stunning loss to Miami at the Cotton Bowl. After losing to the Hoosiers in the Big Ten title game, the assumption was that the Buckeyes would play ticked off and send a statement vs. the Canes. The opposite turned out to be the case.

That's nothing for Oregon to worry about, as the Ducks are going to get back on the practice field soon and look to correct some things before taking on either the Hoosiers or the Tide. When the season first started, people had high hopes for Dan Lanning and his players. Thus far, this team is living up to the hype and more good memories could be on the way.
