College football has reached its peak recruiting season, which should set the Oregon Ducks up for an exciting stretch. The Ducks have made it an annual tradition to sign a top 5 recruiting class, and Dan Lanning has done most of his best work during the Summer. Heading into College Football's official visit season, the Oregon Ducks look like a program poised to explode.

As things currently stand, Oregon holds the Nation's 10th ranked recruiting class with 13 players committed. While it would be a solid class for the Ducks to finish in the top 10, it would be a stepback from the expectations. Luckily, it looks like Dan Lanning has this class poised to make a run right into the top 5.

4-star Linebacker Brayton Feister is latest recruit predicted to Oregon

On Thursday Afternoon, Rivals' Greg Smith placed his expert prediction for 4-star linebacker Brayton Feister to commit to the Oregon Ducks. Smith's prediction is just the latest for Brayton Feister to land at Oregon as Rivals' Steve Wiltfong and Max Torres have both logged the same pick.

According to Rivals' Industry Recruiting Rankings, Brayton Feister is the 144th ranked player in the country, the 12th ranked linebacker in the class, and the 6th ranked player out of Ohio. Dan Lanning and the staff did a great job of getting involved early in Feister's recruitment, and it could end up being the reason the Ducks land an elite linebacker.

Heading into the Summer, Oregon is starting to put together a really exciting recruiting class at linebacker. 4-star Brandon Lockley Jr and 3-star Sam Ngata are already committed, and the Ducks will look to build from there. Between 4-star Brayton Feister and 3-star Toa Satele, landing one of the two would be great, while landing both would give the Ducks an incredible pipeline.

It won't be easy for Oregon to finish out this recruitment, as there are plenty of elite programs looking to make up ground for Feister. The hope for Oregon will be to get Brayton Feister back on campus this Summer for an official visit, and hopefully get him on board as the staff continues to build out this class.
