Three looming decisions in early August will determine the upper limit of Oregon's 2026 recruiting class, which currently sits No. 11 in the country with 15 commits.

Edge rusher Anthony "Tank" Jones decides this week or next, 6-4, 240 from Mobile, Alabama. Jones is down to Alabama, Texas A&M and the Ducks, and his recruitment has been conducted so skillfully by his team that all three schools feel they have a shot at him.

The prediction machines lean toward Alabama, his home-state school and the team he's rooted for since he was a boy. In the 247Sports Composite he's the No. 18 recruit and No. 4 at his position.

Recruiting analyst Coach Hayes praises his violent hands and cat-like reflexes, comparing him to Levar Arrington.

Defensive tackle Daverin "Deuce" Geralds and cornerback Davon Benjamin both announce decisions on August 2nd. From Collins Hill High School in Suwanee, Georgia, Geralds is a 6-3, 265 line of scrimmage-wrecker rated No. 95 in the class and No. 12 at defensive line, a Polynesian Bowl Defensive MVP as a junior.

Geralds' blend of quickness, tenacity and strength makes him a potential impact defender as a strongside end or a tackle. He just beats people off the line and throws combinations of moves like an MMA fighter.

In the final five of Ohio State, LSU, Michigan, Oregon and Ole Miss, it's a frenzy of speculation, but Oregon has led in his recruitment for much of the summer. Duck Sports Central's Scott Reed wrote Monday, "I know that there are some rumblings about LSU for Deuce Geralds and that is a sleeper school that has always made a lot of sense."

"He is originally from Baton Rouge and his dad was coached (at Ole Miss) by the current LSU DL coach. But the Ducks have done a lot right here and still feel like they are in a good position as of Sunday night."

The third leg in this three-legged stool of prospect excellence is Oaks Christian cornerback Davon Benjamin, who also decides Saturday.

Benjamin is an elite cover corner who picked off six passes as a junior, returning three of those for touchdowns. He caught 34 passes on offense, further proof of exceptional ball skills at 6-0, 170.

Predictions from both On3 Sports and 247 have Benjamin going to the Ducks.
