Oregon football vs. Michigan final odds and a prediction
If I'm Dan Lanning, I'm making sure Oregon football doesn't overlook its Week 10 opponent on the road despite it being a shell of its 2023 self.
Michigan is the reigning national champion but it has been nothing more than a mediocre Big Ten squad this season, losing to the likes of Texas, Washington, and Illinois while recording no true signature wins -- USC was considered a good win at the time, but that has since lost its luster.
Oregon, on the other hand, is the No. 1 team in the country and it has a couple of wins over teams that are currently ranked in the AP Top 25. One was against No. 2 Ohio State and the other was over now-No. 15 Boise State. Both of those wins have helped the resume, but there are still a couple of hurdles standing in the Ducks' way of a perfect regular season.
Michigan happens to be one of those hurdles.
The Wolverines might be just 5-3 and the not-so-proud owners of one of the worst quarterback rooms in the country, but they're not going to just roll over and let Oregon come to Ann Arbor and sleepwalk to a win.
Let's see what Vegas says about this matchup as of Saturday morning on DraftKings.
Line: Oregon -14
Over/Under: 45
Moneyline: Oregon -675 | Michigan +490
The Wolverines are going to make things interesting, but Oregon will pull away late after going into halftime with just a three-point lead. Michigan will make the Ducks sweat, but Heisman favorite Dillon Gabriel will do just enough and Michigan won't be able to keep up offensively. This game will be over by the end of the third quarter.
Prediction: Oregon 38, Michigan 21
