As Spring practices come to a close, the top focus in college football is quickly becoming recruiting. For Dan Lanning and the Oregon Ducks, the next stretch could be incredibly rewarding as the staff is in a great position with some of the top prospects in the country. As things currently stand, Oregon holds the Nation's 6th ranked recruiting class with 11 commits on board, but both should quickly rise.

Oregon already has the best quarterback in the country on board in Will Mencl which always becomes a key factor in trying to lure other players into a class. Pair Will Mencl with Dan Lanning's NFL Draft output, Oregon's success, and the resources, and top recruits are bound to follow.

Oregon appears to be the new front runner for elite OL Ismael Camara

One of the top recruits on Oregon's board is elite offensive lineman Ismael Camara out of Gilmer, Texas. The 6-foot-6, 335 pound offensive lineman is among the most sought after recruits in the country, but Oregon and Texas have seemed to be the two schools battling at the top.

Rivals' Recruiting Prediction Machine now favors Oregon to land the mauler on the inside as the Ducks are now given a 74.2% chance to land Camara while Texas is given just a 6.1% chance.

Landing Ismael Camara would be a massive win for this recruiting class, giving the Ducks another one of the top end prospects. According to Rivals' Industry Recruiting Rankings, Ismael Camara is the 36th ranked player in the country, the 4th ranked interior offensive lineman, and the 4th ranked player out of Texas.

The offensive line class needs to start coming together this Summer, and Camara would instantly become the best prospect on that front. Adding Camara with Oregon commit Avery Michael would put the Ducks in a great place while they continue to add pieces to the unit as other recruitments come to an end.
