After a tight matchup in Week 1 against Boise State, Oregon fans will hope for a far more relaxing game on Saturday. Before the season, Oklahoma State was billed as a potential trap game for Oregon, but some of the hype for the matchup was killed with the Cowboys season opening loss to Tulsa.
Just because Oklahoma State is 0-1 doesn't mean that the Ducks can overlook this team, as they have the potential to be an explosive offense. Eric Morris led one of the Nation's best offenses last season, and if the Cowboys can put it all together, they'll have a chance to upset any team on their schedule.

Wyatt Young - Wide Receiver
While most of Oklahoma State's team struggled in the season opener, Wyatt Young continued to be a productive threat for the offense. Young led the Cowboys offense with 8 catches for 84 yards after building a ton of chemistry with Drew Mestemaker last season. Eric Morris mostly deploys Wyatt Young out of the snap, meaning Oregon's safeties and STAR will have to match up with the Cowboys' biggest threat.
Caleb Hawkins - Running Back
Caleb Hawkins struggled to create explosive runs as he did at North Texas, but if the Ducks let him get into a rhythm, it could be a long game. Last season, Caleb Hawkins was one of the biggest freshman stars in the Country, rushing for 1,434 yards with 470 yards and 29 total touchdowns. The defensive line is going to need to slow Hawkins early, and turn this offense into a one dimensional unit.
Drew Mestemaker - Quarterback
Oklahoma State is going to go as far as Drew Mestemaker takes them this season, and with his struggles in Week 1, the Cowboys lost. Last season, Mestemaker passed for 4,379 yards and 34 touchdowns while scoring 5 with his legs. The Tulsa loss was concerning for Oklahoma State, as it wasn't the jump up in competition yet, and Oregon is going to have a clear talent advantage against this offense.
Ethan Wesloski - Linebacker
The player to watch on the Oklahoma State defense is veteran linebacker Ethan Wesloski, who's a tackling machine. Wesloski is one of the many to follow Eric Morris to Stillwater, after racking up 113 tackles last season. The Senior is already off to a hot start with 7 tackles in the season opener, and the Ducks will have to look out when Wesloski blitzes, as he's recorded 7 sacks over the past 3 seasons.
Lachie Pozzobon - Punter
The punter being a positive in your season opener is never a great sign, but Lachie Pozzobon was great in the opener. Pozzobon started his career at Stephen F Austin, and he brought his big leg with him to Stillwater, averaging 44 yards per punt in the opener.
