After an 8-0 start to its season and two upset victories over teams in the top 20, the Oregon Ducks men's basketball team has stormed its way into the AP Top 25. Following Oregon's victory over the then-No. 9 Alabama Crimson Tide in the Players Era Festival championship game, the Ducks are now ranked No. 12 in the nation.

Oregon is one of just ten teams in the Top 25 with a perfect overall record so far this year, alongside the top five teams –– Kansas, Auburn, Tennessee, Kentucky, and Marquette. Wisconsin, Florida, Cincinnati, and Oklahoma are the other four teams with flawless records.

Senior center Nate Bittle leads the team in nearly every stat category. So far this year, Bittle has produced 14.6 points, 9.4 rebounds, and 1.9 blocks per game to lead the Ducks. Sophomore guard Jackson Shelstad leads Oregon with 3.9 assists per game but his been slow to find his shooting form so far. Senior guard Keeshawn Barthelemy leads the Ducks with 1.9 steals per game.

Up next, Oregon will kick off conference play against two very familiar foes. The unranked USC Trojans will host the Ducks on Dec. 4 and then the Ducks will host the unranked UCLA Bruins in Eugene on Dec. 8.

The Ducks and the Trojans will tip off at 7:30 p.m. PT on the Big Ten Network. Oregon and UCLA will tip-off from Matthew Knight Arena at 3 p.m. PT on the Big Ten Network. Following the two conference games, Oregon will face SFA, Stanford, and Weber State before taking on Illinois in its next Big Ten matchup.
