Beating your rivals is one of the most fun parts of college football, but taking it to another level is when you can dominate an opponent. The Civil War between Oregon and Oregon State has slowed down in recent years with conference realignment, but the Beavers should consider themselves lucky as the gap between schools has only grown. Over the history of the rivalry, Oregon has time and time again dominated the Beavers in blowout fashion.

Oregon's 5 biggest blowouts in the history of The Civil War

5. Oregon 55 - Oregon State 15 (2018)

The first season of the Mario Cristobal era set the tone for the year's to come with an absolute blowout of the Beavers. Justin Herbert attempted just 12 passes as the Ducks used the duo of Travis Dye and CJ Verdell combined for 386 yards and 6 touchdowns on the ground. Thomas Graham Jr and the defense even got involved in the 4th quarter with a 38-yard pick six.

4. Oregon 56 - Oregon State 14 (2005)

In 2005, Oregon faced Oregon State with a chance to move to 10-1 with a win, and the Ducks sent the message instantly with a Aaron Gipson 60-yard pick six to open the scoring. From there, Oregon opened up the flood gates as Dennis Dixon threw for 3 touchdowns while a trio of Oregon running backs rushed for scores.

T2. Oregon 44 - Oregon State 0 (1987)

At the time, Oregon posted the most lopsided victory in the history of The Civil War with a 44 point blowout of the Beavers. The Ducks defense knocked both the Beavers starting and backup quarterbacks out of the game in an incredible outing by the defense. The offense was on fire during the blowout as well as the 5-straight touchdowns sent Autzen Stadium into a buzz.

T2. Oregon 44 - Oregon State 0 (1895)

Far before anyone thought to record individual stats and game recaps, Oregon dominated the second recorded Civil War with a 44-0 blowout. Making Oregon's blowout win even crazier is that the Ducks followed up the effort by beating Oregon State 2-0 while it would take the next 4 Civil War matchups for the Ducks to total 44 points.

1. Oregon 69 - Oregon State 10 (2017)

Willie Taggart's lone season as head coach of the Ducks is perfectly forgettable, but there were a few incredible moments. Ending the regular season with an absolute pummeling of the Beavers which marks the largest in rivalry history was at least a memorable moment. Justin Herbert accounted for 4 touchdowns while Royce Freeman and Kani Benoit combined for 250 yards on the ground in the shredding of the Beavers defense.
