During a man-coverage on Wisconsin's crossing route, Dontae Manning collided with one of his Oregon teammates and the senior defensive back was extremely slow to get up.

The game cut to an injury timeout and the veteran Duck player remained down for a number of minutes before the Oregon medical staff eventually helped him to the sidelines.

While the play that Manning was injured on led to a defensive stop on 3rd down, the loss of yet another starter could be costly for the No. 1 team in the nation. Prior to the game, Oregon already had eight players on the injury report, including defensive star Jordan Burch.

Manning was escorted to the medical tent on the Ducks' sideline when he first left the field. The defensive back has been with Oregon since his freshman year in 2021.

So far this season, Manning has brought down 13 total tackles, including nine solo takedowns, and five pass deflections for the Ducks. His only career interception, thus far, came in 2023 against the Liberty Flames in the VRBO Fiesta Bowl.

Throughout his career with the Ducks, Manning has earned 76 total tackles (52 solo, 25 assisted) and 13 pass deflections.

After some time in the tent, Manning was seen on the sidelines with medical staff tending to an apparently left leg injury on the bench.

Manning returned to the game towards the beginning of the second quarter. Oregon held a minimal 6-0 lead over the Badgers from two successful field goal attempts by kicker Atticus Sappington.

This article will be updated as news about Manning's injury status is released.
