Oregon's Haloti Ngata inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame

Former Oregon defensive tackle Haloti Ngata is a part of the 2025 College Football Hall of Fame class for his time with the Ducks.

Haloti Ngata was an unstoppable force while he played for the Oregon Ducks. The defensive tackle quickly amassed all-conference honors and national rewards throughout his collegiate career and now, the former Duck is officially in the College Football Hall of Fame.

Ngata went on to play 12 incredible seasons in the NFL, including a Super Bowl victory when he was still with the Baltimore Ravens in 2013.

While at Oregon, Ngata was a second-team All-Pac-10 player (2004) and a first-team All-Pac-10 player (2005) as well as being named the 2005 Pac-10 Co-Defensive Player of the Year. At the end of the 2005 season, which was his final year with the Ducks, he was a consensus All-American and won the Morris Trophy which was given to the best offensive and defensive linemen in the Pac-10.

Ngata is one of 18 former college football stars who were inducted into the Hall of Fame as members of the class of 2025, alongside four historic head coaches including Nick Saban and Urban Meyer. Alongside Ngata in the class of 2025 are the likes of Mike Vick (Virginia Tech), Montee Ball (Michigan), Michael Huff (Texas), and Michael Strahan (Texas Southern).

"We are thrilled to announce the 2025 College Football Hall of Fame Class," said Archie Manning, National Football Foundation Chairman. "Each of these legends ranks among the absolute best to have ever played or coached the game, and we look forward to adding their incredible accomplishments to those permanently enshrined in the Hall of Fame."

On Jan. 16, 2025, the NFF and the College Hall of Fame announced the 2025 College Football Hall of Fame Class during "College Football Live" on ESPN2.

With his induction, Ngata became the tenth-ever former Duck inducted into the Colleg Football Hall of Fame, alongside legends like Mel Renfro, LaMichael James, and Ahmad Rashad
