Oregon sets gameday visit with elite 2028 WR recruit from enemy territory

Fall camp is set to begin, and with college football's official visit season in the rearview, the attention for every program is starting to shift. Oregon's 2027 recruiting class is mostly in place, and the Ducks, along with most programs, are starting to shift their attention to building relationships in the 2028 cycle.

Building early relationships with recruits is key as you want to get prospects on campus as often as possible for visits to help your case. As the start of the college football season nears, 2028 recruits are planning their visit schedule for the Fall, and the early indication is that it'll be a busy Fall on the sidelines of Autzen Stadium.

Oregon lands visit with 4-star Washington Native Jayce Halasz

One of the early recruits to watch for the Oregon Ducks is wide receiver Jayce Halasz, who's drawing interest from the Nation's biggest programs. As Halasz's recruitment starts to come into focus, the 4-star recruit released his visit schedule for the Fall which looks alot like a concert tour with the number of dates.

According to Rivals' Industry Recruiting Rankings, Jayce Halasz is the 147th ranked player in the Country, the 7th ranked wide receiver in the class, and the 3rd ranked player out of Washington.

The good news for the Ducks is that with the recruiting events they've held in Eugene, the visit for the UCLA game won't be his first time on campus. The Ducks have gotten Halasz on campus twice with a visit in April along with another visit in June which should help the staff as they continue to build the relationship.

The task now for the Ducks is to start finding a way to pull away from some of the other schools in this recruitment, as it's a crowded field. The coaching staff has shown they can go into Washington's backyard and steal away talent, and landing a playmaker like Halasz would be one of the biggest wins in the duel as of late.
