Heading into the 2026-27 college football season, few players will have higher expectations than Orgeon quarterback Dante Moore. Coming off a stellar debut season for the Ducks, Dante Moore could've entered his name into the 2026 NFL Draft, and likely would've been at worst a top 5 pick, but he opted to instead return to Eugene for one more season.
By returning to college football, Dante Moore has given himself a chance to put together a truly special season. Oregon will enter the season as a National Championship favorite while Dante Moore will be a front runner for the Heisman Trophy and to potentially be the 1st overall pick. Before the season even begins, Dante Moore is racking up accolades.

The accolade is well deserved for Dante Moore as he’s clearly the top quarterback in the country. Moore returns with the potential to lead Oregon to the first National Championship in program history, and if he comes even close to living up to his potential the Ducks should pull it off.
Tuesday will give everyone the full reveal of Dante Moore on the cover, but it’s an exciting feat for a more than deserving player.
When Dante Moore made the decision to transfer to Oregon, he made an incredibly risky decision picking to backup Dillon Gabriel. The move will now become a blueprint for many similar players as Moore turned his entire career around with a year of development.
