The big blonde lady in the braids and Viking helmet has already begun to sing in college football recruiting. Max Torres of ScoopDuck reported last night that 368 of the Top 400 recruits have already committed.

They're rushing to get their share of 1-877-CASH NOW. NIL and the portal have speeded up the process, which used to last until a flurry of announcements in December, January and the first Wednesday in February.

The Ducks are on the cutting edge of this emerging trend. Already in this cycle they've hauled in 23 commitments in a class ranked No. 4 in the country.

Ducks could pick up a brilliantly-engineered Sabb

They could get another one today as Xavier Sabb, a 6-1, 195 receiver from Glassboro, New Jersey is scheduled to announce at 2:00 p.m. PT on the Rivals YouTube Channel. The Ducks are a big favorite for the dynamic athlete who visited in June.

Sabb is dynamic in the Josh Huff/Braylon Addison tradition, an UnderArmour All-American and an al-conference basketball player, a do-everything athlete for the 14-0 state champions at Glassboro High.

Last season he caught 59 passes for 877 yards and 13 touchdowns, tacking on a Pick Six, a kickoff return touchdown and a punt return touchdown. He's expected to choose the Ducks over LSU, Tennessee and UCLA.

With so many recruits committing early the last rockets in the fireworks display are hitting the sky in a quick burst . Just one premier defensive tackle has yet to pick a school, Brayden Parks of Brother Rice High School in Chicago, down to Notre Dame and Oregon. The last remaining elite offensive tackle on the board is Ismael Camara of Gilmer, Texas, 6-6, 340, a multisport athlete who speaks four languages, an immigrant from LeMans, France who has played just one year of varsity football.

Not many offensive tackles at any level of football have the agility to do that. Camara has the potential to be generational, but it appears the Longhorns lead for his commitment.
