Saturday night's Oregon vs. Ohio State game will be the topic of conversation all weekend as it's the feature of College GameDay.

With College GameDay in town, the nation will focus on two of the top three teams in the sport and the Big Ten will be center stage -- as it should be. The Ducks will play their first ranked Big Ten opponent as a member of the conference and it might just be the biggest game in Oregon football history considering how much is on the line.

A win for Dillon Gabriel and the Ducks would mean a massive leg up in the conference standings with just six games left as well as prime positioning as the first playoff rankings are approaching.

A loss would mean Oregon would likely have to win out in order to make the Big Ten title game but the playoff hopes would still be very much alive. Still, Oregon has to utilize home field advantage.

Here's everything you need to know for the big game.

Weather report for Oregon vs. Ohio State

The weather around the country right now has been a touchy subject with the horrendous aftermath of Hurricane Milton making headlines this week (keep Florida in your thoughts). For Saturday night's game in Eugene, the weather at kickoff will be as close to perfect as you can get with no precipitation and low winds along with 75 degrees on the thermometer. By the end of the game, there's a two percent chance of rain and 5 mph winds but the temperature will remain in the high-60s.

Series history for Oregon vs. Ohio State

Oregon and Ohio State have met just 10 times in the history of the two programs and the Buckeyes hold a convincing 9-1 advantage. The last game between these two, though, back in 2021 was won by Oregon as the Ducks went into Columbus and stole one from the Buckeyes, 35-28. Before that, Ohio State won the first nine games in the series history.

Will Oregon secure win No. 2 against Ohio State and the first-ever in Eugene against the Buckeyes on Saturday night?
