The Ohio State Buckeyes host the Oregon Ducks on Saturday in what many expected to be the biggest game of the season. Instead, Dan Lanning's team enters the game at 5-3, while Ryan Day's Buckeyes are 6-2 on the season, and both head coaches are hoping to pick up a win to spark momentum in the final stretch of the season.

While the game has lost some luster with both starting quarterbacks injured, these are still teams loaded with future NFL players and former 5-star recruits, which should lead to a thrilling back-and-forth game. Quarterback play may decide this game, and there's still plenty on the line for both teams in this matchup.

Injuries

Both teams entered the season with potential Heisman Trophy winners and Top 10 picks at quarterback in Dante Moore and Julian Sayin, but neither will be in the lineup for this game. Dante Moore will likely miss the rest of this season dealing with a concussion while Julian Sayin suffered an injury to his right shoulder during the Indiana game which has him sidelined indefinitley.

In Oregon's last game, the Ducks had several injuries pop up as running backs Jordon Davison and Dierre Hill missed the second half. Wide Receiver Dakorien Moore also dealt with an injury suffered on the final punt return of the game, but appears to be fine for Saturday's game. The Ducks will also be monitoring the health of wide receiver Jeremiah McClellan who's been out since the second game of the season with a broken foot.

Ohio State will be hoping to get some pieces back as well as CB Jay Timmons, RB Ja'Kobi Jackson, WR Brock Boyd, and WR Brandon Inniss all missed the USC game.

Announcers

CBS' trio of play-by-play announcer Brad Nessler, analyst Charles Davis, and sideline reporter Jenny Dell will be on the call for Saturday's showdown.
