Following a big win over Ohio State, Oregon will be on the road in Week 8 for what could be a trickier-than-expected game against Purdue. The Oregon vs. Purdue game won't draw a ton of attention nationally, but Big Ten fans know all about the Spoilermakers and their affinity for knocking off top-five teams as extreme underdogs.

In fact, Purdue has three wins over top-five teams in the past six years as an unranked underdog.

The Boilermakers will try to make that four on Saturday in West Lafayette, but they may legitimately be the worst team in the conference. They're currently a far cry from the Jeff Brohm-led Spoilermakers from previous years. But the Ducks still can't overlook them.

Series history for Oregon vs. Purdue

As you can imagine, these two teams haven't played each other much all time. In fact, the Ducks hold a 2-1 series lead with a two-game winning streak. They won 32-26 the last time they faced off in West Lafayette back in 2008 and then won a 38-36 thriller in Eugene the following year. Purdue's only win in the series came back in 1979 in West Lafayette, 13-7. Purdue will look to shock everyone and tie the all-time series on Saturday while Oregon looks to improve to 3-1.
