"Bad news for the Oregon Ducks again," Pete Thamel said, reporting live from the set of ESPN College Football GameDay moments ago.

"Star receivers Dakorien Moore and Gary Bryant Jr. are again not expected to play," Thamel said, reading off his note cards.

"This will be the third straight game Moore, Oregon's leading receiver, has missed with a knee injury."

That means more targets for Malik Benson, Kenyon Sadiq and Jeremiah McClellan, and perhaps a stronger lean on the Big Ten's best running game.

Thamel didn't mention Evan Stewart, who has been out all season but reportedly getting closer to a return. Stewart, who tore his patellar tendon in June, posted a video of himself dancing a few weeks ago. He was moving well in the clip, but dancing isn't a collision sport, not ideally.

The most likely possibility is that the Ducks are without all three, relying on their run game and multiple tight end packages, hugely effective against MInnesota.

Dan Lanning joined the show after the 6:30 commercial break. "I'm not worried about the juice. I'm worried about the execution."

"It plays back in to what we told our team before the season: strength in numbers," Lanning said.

Stopping explosive plays remains a key against the Trojans. "We have to do an elite job."

Oregon hosts USC 12:30 p.m. PT on CBS.

"This is my spot. I'm planted here forever," Lanning said. Pat McAfee noted he's not being rumored for any jobs this time around.
