Saturday morning moments ago ESPN and The Athletic reporter Pete Thamel confirmed reports that sensational Oregon freshman receiver Dakorien Moore was injured in practice this week and may be doubtful for today's game at Iowa, the College Football Playoff No. 9 Ducks taking on the Hawkeyes at Kinnick Stadium, 12:30 p.m. PT on CBS.
Moore has been a game breaker for Will Stein's offense, a 5-11, 195 magician with 10.4 speed. The true freshman from Duncanville, Texas leads the team in receiving with 28 catches for 443 yards and three touchdowns, the squad's best depth threat.
If he's out the Ducks will rely on seniors Gary Bryant Jr., Malik Benson and redshirt freshman Jeremiah McClellan as the primary wideouts.

With concerns Alex Harkey may be unable to go for the Ducks today, 6-5, 318 offensive tackle Gernorris Wilson would take on the tough assignment of blocking a tough Iowa defensive front in Max Llewellyn, Ethan Hurkett and Aaron Graves, who have combined for 14 sacks and 20 tackles for loss this season.
The official, mandatory Big Ten injury report is due at 10:30, two hours before gametime. While team speed was one of the advantages Oregon hoped to exploit in this matchup, depth and resilience are two others.
