Throughout his time at Oregon, Cam McCormick became a beloved figure of Duck football despite hardly taking the field. The Ducks’ tight end battled injury after injury over seven years with the team.

Despite his setbacks, McCormick was able to accumulate 169 receiving yards and four touchdown catches for Oregon before following head coach Mario Cristobal to Miami.

McCormick’s personality and resilience through his injuries was an inspiration to the Oregon players around him and it was a heartbreaking loss when he announced that his name had been entered into the portal.

Shockingly, McCormick will be playing in his ninth season of college football in 2024.
