The College Football Hall of Fame has released its 2025 ballot of players and coaches who could be inducted into the HOF.

Two beloved figures from Oregon football history have been included on the 2025 ballot including legendary running back Kenjon Barner and monstrous defensive tackle Haloti Ngata.

Kenjon Barner

Kenjon Barner (literally) carried the Ducks to continuous success in the early 2010s. Barner was a part of the Oregon football team from 2009 until 2012.

While with the Ducks, Barner led the backfield and dominated the Pac-12.

Barner had 3,623 career rushing yards for 41 touchdowns on the ground, along with 591 yards and 7 touchdowns through the air.

The former Duck was a 2012 consensus All-American and a final for the Doak Walker Award. Barner led Oregon to four BCS berths including an appearance in the 2011 BCS National Championship game.

To this day, Barner sits third in all-purpose yards (5,848) in Oregon program history.

Haloti Ngata

Before he dominated the NFL, Haloti Ngata enshrined himself as an Oregon Duck defensive star.

Ngata played for the Ducks for just two years in the early 2000s (‘02 & ‘04) but amassed a stunning 101 total tackles.

Ngata is one of the most dominant interior linemen in Oregon football history and that isn’t sheerly due to his stats.

The former Duck made every other player around him better. Whether he was taking down two offensive linemen at once to clear the way for one of his teammates or eliminating a play altogether by demolishing a quarterback, Ngata was consistently elite.

Famously, Ngata is the second-strongest Oregon Duck of all time. He could bench 495 pounds, squat 550 pounds, and clean press 385 pounds.
