With the start of the 2024 college football season getting closer and closer, the way the landscape of college football has changed is becoming more and more tangible. If for some reason you weren’t already aware, the Oregon football program has had a pretty significant role in the way college football is changing. And that will be evident during the 2024 Big Ten football media days.

Scheduled to start on July 23 and running through 25 at the iconic Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, the Big Ten Conference’s upcoming media days will feature a three-day format as a result of the recent expansion the conference has gone through.

That includes the addition of prominent West Coast college football programs in the Oregon Ducks, UCLA Bruins, USC Trojans, and Washington Huskies. Now set to have 18 teams present for Big Ten Media Days, fans, media, and stakeholders will get a glimpse at what the future of this storied program will look like.

2024 Big Ten football media days schedule

The first day of Big Ten Media Days will feature teams that have been in the program for a little bit. None of the West Coast newcomers will be present for this round up. Here’s who will be speaking in Indianapolis on July 23:

  • Illinois Fighting Illini
  • Northwestern Wildcats
  • Ohio State Buckeyes
  • Purdue Boilermakers
  • Rutgers Scarlet Knights
  • Wisconsin Badgers

During day two, on July 24, we get a mix of long-standing Big Ten members as well as some of the folks from way out West. This time, it’ll be the two California programs that made their way into the Big ten. Here’s who will be up to speak on day two:

  • Iowa Hawkeyes
  • Michigan State Spartans
  • Nebraska Cornhuskers
  • Penn State Nittany Lions
  • UCLA Bruins
  • USC Trojans

And then on day three, we finally get to see the Oregon football program chat with media members. Oh, and some other programs will be there as well. Here’s who will be present for day three:

  • Indiana Hoosiers
  • Maryland Terrapins
  • Michigan Wolverines
  • Minnesota Golden Gophers
  • Oregon Ducks
  • Washington Huskies

How to watch Big Ten Media Days coverage

The new three-day format that the Big Ten is implementing will of course give college football fans even more opportunities to keep up with this storied conference. And thanks to the Big Ten Network, we’ll get to see six hours of coverage placed right on TV starting at 8 a.m. for folks out on the West Coast.

College football is going through a lot of changes right now. And we’re going to get to start seeing the fruits of those sooner rather than later. Of course, plenty of those changes will become a bit more tangible for fans during Big Ten Media Days.
