1. Oregon covers and looks good doing it

Two weeks into the year, Oregon looks human. For any other program, that would be OK, but for the Ducks who were considered preseason national title contenders, that's not acceptable.

That'll change on Saturday afternoon against a familiar opponent.

Oregon is favored by 17 points on the road against the Beavers and although the Ducks are 0-2 against the spread this season, I think they'll show up and show off in a big way. They'll win convincingly in Corvallis, 41-17, and show the nation that they are, in fact, a top-10 team and making a push for a top-five spot again.

Dan Lanning and the Ducks have suffered the biggest drop in the AP Top 25 of any 2-0 team in the country this season, dropping from No. 3 in the preseason to No. 9 after a slim Boise State win.

A dominant win in Corvallis will have AP voters buying all the way back in.
