2. Best quarterback in the conference

What do the best teams in college football usually have in common other than having stingy defenses? That's right, having elite quarterback play.

And Oregon has the best in the Big Ten.

Ohio State brings in Will Howard from Kansas State but there are plenty of concerns about whether or not he'll be able to take that next step with the Buckeyes. Is he really the guy to lead Ohio State to national title contention and a Big Ten title? I'm not so sure.

Drew Allar at Penn State is solid, but he's not consistent. He's a former five-star prospect who could be great but it feels like James Franklin and Penn State hold him back offensively.

Michigan has questions at quarterback, USC is moving on from Caleb Williams, Iowa is starting a guy who's coming off a season-ending injury, Wisconsin has a case with Tyler Van Dyke, Nebraska is starting a true freshman, Washington no longer has Michael Penix Jr., and Maryland is without Taulia Tagovailoa for the first time in years.

Oregon has the best quarterback in Dillon Gabriel who replaces Bo Nix and the offense has plenty of weapons to help him out. Giving the best quarterback in the conference an electric offense is just a recipe for success for the Ducks and disaster for the rest of the Big Ten.
