The Ducks took a trip to Florida last weekend to kick off their 2024 season. They played six games over three days at the NFCA Leadoff Classic.

Oregon sits at 4-2 overall now with wins over Liberty, Kansas, Army, and Missouri State. The Ducks lost to Indiana and No. 5 Clemson.

Indiana got off to an early lead, racing ahead of the Ducks 5-1 after two innings of at-bats. While Oregon was able to earn five runs themselves, it wasn’t quite enough to keep up with the offensive strength of the Hoosiers.

Junior RHP Stevie Hansen was credited with the loss after allowing the Hoosiers’ first 5 runs.

The Ducks also had Raegan Breedlove, Taylour Spencer, and Morgan Scott take the mound throughout their first game of the season.

Alyssa Daniell hit a homer and a triple for the Ducks alongside Vallery Wong’s triple and Emma Kauf’s sacrifice fly for Oregon’s 5 RBIs.
