Big Ten football power rankings after spring portal closes: Did Ducks get better?

James Franklin is another Big Ten coach who doesn't put all of his focus on the transfer portal during the offseason.

This year, Franklin has only brought in six new commits from the portal and they were all committed before January came to an end.

Unfortunately for the Nittany Lions, wide receivers Malick Meiga and KeAndre Lambert-Smith put their names in the portal and Meiga is already committed to Auburn. Four-star transfer defensive lineman Davon Townley also decided to enter his name in the portal at the end of the month.
