Throughout April, the Scarlet Knights lost just one player, defensive lineman Rene Konga, to the portal.

Since January, Rutgers hasn't had any new commitments from the portal for the upcoming season and the Knights lack talent that is necessary to break into the top of the conference rankings.

At the end of the 2023 season, Rutgers sat at 7-6 overall and the coming year most likely won't have very different results.
