Former Oregon Duck quarterback Bo Nix took the first snap for the National team in the Reese’s Senior Bowl on Saturday, Feb. 3 in Mobile, AL.
A quick three-and-out sequence included a deep-shot incompletion for Nix, a failed run for the offense, and a short completion for Nix.
Nix got the start after former Washington quarterback Michael Penix Jr. opted out of the game just a day before the kickoff.
The National team first took the field following a successful drive by quarterback Spencer Rattler on the American team. National was down 7-0 when Nix and teammates took the field.
The three-and-out was followed by a punt.
