Following his touchdown drive for the National team in the Reese’s Senior Bowl, former Oregon Ducks quarterback Bo Nix was interviewed on the sideline.

“It’s a great opportunity… a lot of time to show what you’ve got,” Nix said. “And be your authentic self.”

Playing in his home state, Nix looked steady and confident on the field as he marched his team toward the endzone and capitalized on an open receiver in the endzone.

“With some guys dropping out, I felt it was right to come out and play,” Nix said. “To be in my home state, they do a really good job of putting on a great event.”

Was Nix pointing out that his former in-conference rival Michael Penix Jr. had dropped out of the game just a day before kickoff?

Nix was replaced by former Notre Dame quarterback Sam Hartman in the game and the Duck got to enjoy watching the sport he loves so much.
