A third player for the 49ers, Dave Wilcox was drafted by San Francisco and spent all 11 years of his NFL career with the team.
Wilcox was a force to be reckoned with while playing in the league. He earned 14 career interceptions and recovered 12 fumbles in his time with the Niners.
Between 1967 and 1973, Wilcox was named All-NFL five times. In 1973, he was attributed with 104 solo tackles and four forced fumbles.
He was also named All-NFC in 1971, 1972, and 1973. He was a seven-time Pro Bowler and was inducted into the Hall of Fame in the Class of 2000.
He even earned the nickname “The Intimidator” while playing in the pros. Wilcox missed just one game during his 11-year career. While Wilcox never won a Super Bowl, his longevity and consistency in the league show just how talented the Pro Duck was.
