Saturday night's Oregon vs. UCLA game will mark the first-ever Big Ten matchup between these two former Pac-12 programs as well as the Ducks' first game ever in the new conference. UCLA, on the other hand, was throttled by Indiana earlier this season.

Oregon is 3-0 and coming off a much-needed bye after demolishing Oregon State following two duds to start the year against Idaho and Boise State.

UCLA is 1-2 with back-to-back double-digit losses to Indiana and LSU as the Bruins have had a brutal schedule thus far. Their lone win was against Hawaii and even that game was in doubt until the final whistle as the Bruins stole one, 16-13.

As has become tradition every week, I ran a simulation on EA Sports College Football 25 for the upcoming showdown between the Bruins and Ducks.

Here's what the results tell us.

CFB 25 simulation results for Oregon vs. UCLA

Oregon goes on the road and dominates UCLA from start to finish, winning 30-7. The Ducks jump out to a 30-0 lead until the Bruins finally get on the scoreboard in the fourth quarter, but it's too little, too late for Chip Kelly's former team.

The Ducks out-gained UCLA 346-150 and held Ethan Garbers to just 98 yards passing.

Let's take a look at the key contributors in the blowout win:

Player

Stats

Dillon Gabriel

15-20, 184 yards, 1 TD; 11 rushing yards

Jordan James

19 carries 101 yards; 1 catch, 9 yards

Noah Whittington

31 rushing yards, 1 TD; 2 catches, 35 yards

Terrance Ferguson

4 catches, 45 yards

Tez Johnson

3 catches, 34 yards

Traeshon Holden

2 catches, 33 yards, TD

Kobe Savage

3 tackles, 1 pass breakup

Jordan Burch

3 tackles, 0.5 sacks

Matayo Uiagalelei

0.5 sacks

Atticus Sappington

3-for-3, long of 39 yards

Kind of a boring game, stats-wise, but Oregon dominates on both sides of the ball (more defensively) and holds the Bruins to just 150 yards and a garbage time touchdown.

Can't ask for more from a conference road game in a potentially dangerous trap game.
