Former Oregon Duck defensive back Evan Williams made a show-stopping play as he picked off a deep throw toward the end zone.

On 3rd & 1, the American team quarterback Joe Milton seemed to throw the ball straight at Williams, whose quick hands snagged the ball out of the air to prevent a touchdown for the opposing team.

“People will focus on the interception by Joe Milton but really it should be the play by Evan Williams for Oregon,” the commentators said.

Williams was named the Defensive Specialist Player of the Week heading into the bowl game.

“He ate up all the ground and picked it off,” commentators concluded.

Williams is certainly buying himself some nice draft stock during his final chance to show his in-game capabilities before the NFL Combine and Draft.
