Week 3: at Oregon State – Sept. 14

The Civil War won’t be the week of Thanksgiving like it usually is but the in-state rivalry is here to stay, for now. Visiting little brother’s stomping grounds in Corvallis won’t slow the Ducks don’t at all.

With many star players leaving Oregon State’s program as their head coach fled to Michigan State and their Pac-12 partners abandoned shop, the Beavers will be nowhere near the level they have been the past few years.

Without Jonathan Smith in East Lansing and quarterback DJ Uiagalelei at Florida State, Oregon State will have to try to put up a dam against any other losses.

Following probable victories over Idaho State and San Diego State, Beavers will have momentum and the home crowd on their side but those won’t be enough to take down the Ducks. Without a returning quarterback and deep in a rebuilding phase, OSU will struggle at home.

Oregon will once again march its way to victory with a 38-17 win over Oregon State.
