The first five weeks of Oregon football's 2024 season have been interesting, to say the least.

The Ducks struggled to pull away from Idaho in the opener before needing a fourth-quarter comeback to finally overcome Boise State in Eugene. That seemed to have been a wake-up call for this team as Oregon dominated rival -- and now non-conference foe -- Oregon State in Corvallis, 49-14, before a bye and then headed to UCLA to beat the Bruins by three touchdowns.

The last two road games for Oregon have resulted in blowout wins and it feels like the Ducks are finally getting on track in a season that feels like "playoff or bust" for Dan Lanning.

Oregon will host Michigan State this weekend after the Spartans were dismantled by Ohio State (the final score was not quite indicative of how competitive this game was) and then the real meat of the schedule will be upon the Ducks.

In fact, their biggest game of the season will be the following week against that Buckeye team.

On Monday, the kickoff time for that much-anticipated top-10 matchup between new conference foes was released and it's going to be in the national spotlight in primetime.

A 4:30 p.m. local kickoff was somewhat expected and that means it'll get the center stage at 7:30 p.m. ET which is usually one of the biggest games every week. This one will be on NBC.

There may not be a bigger game in the Big Ten this season as Oregon has been considered the biggest threat to Ohio State in the conference. Michigan won the national title last year, but Ohio State reloaded and looks like the most talented team in the conference while the Wolverines are slowly fading.

Oregon has a shot to really make a statement in Eugene against the No. 3 team in the country.

And all eyes will be on Autzen Stadium.
