As a four-year starter, Derek Lolville blew through Oregon records. Finishing with 3,214 career rushing yards and 41 rushing touchdowns. That’s 246 points on the ground alone, an average of 61.5 points per year.
Loville also had 89 receptions for a total of 732 yards and 4 receiving touchdowns.
At the time of his departure, Loville held the school record for games of 100+ rushing yards (11), and his 5,223 all-purpose yards were well beyond anyone else’s imagination.
Lolville’s stat line is still impressive to this day even though some of his No. 1 records have since been replaced. After being drafted by the Seattle Seahawks in 1990, he went on to play for the San Francisco 49ers and Denver Broncos as well.
