Oregon Ducks' 2025 football schedule: Known and confirmed opponents

Big Ten away games:

Iowa Hawkeyes – Date TBA

The Hawkeyes and the Ducks couldn't have been further from birds of a feather during the 2023 season. Iowa was one of the lowest scoring offenses while Oregon's offense was nearly unstoppable. 2025 will be the first in-conference matchup for the two teams and I expect the Ducks to hand the Hawkeyes an easy loss.

Northwestern Wildcats – Date TBA

Surprisingly to most, the Northwestern Wildcats is the only Big Ten team that is undefeated against the Oregon Ducks. As the two teams clash for just the second time ever in 2025, Oregon will be looking for revenge.

Penn State Nittany Lions – Date TBA

This matchup is arguably going to be one of the Ducks' biggest games of the season. Obviously, however 2024 unfolds will affect predictions and expectations for the game but Penn State has been a perennial football program for decades. The Ducks have been working their way up to that status and will hopefully be able to best the Nittany Lions.

Rutgers Scarlet Knights – Date TBA

This will be the first matchup between the two Big Ten foes. Prior to Oregon joining the conference, the Ducks and Scarlet Knights had never played. In 2024, the Ducks were slated to play more of the big hitters in the conference instead of seeing Rutgers on their schedule.

Washington Huskies – Date TBA

For now, Oregon and Washington are set to conclude their seasons against each other for the forseeable future. The Huskies have been Dan Lanning's insurmountable opponent since he took over the Duck program. Hopefully 2024 and 2025 bring better fortunes for both Lanning and his squad.
