One of the three transfer players that Altman brought in from the portal is former Villanova guard T.J. Bamba who was an elite ball handler and shooter last season.

Bamba adds the height and experience that Oregon's backcourt currently lacks with Shelstad running the show. Backed by Mookie Cook and Dez Lindsay, Bamba and Shelstad should have a lot of support at the guard position.

Cook was a top-tier recruit coming out of high school but was unfortunately injured throughout the 2023-24 season. He should be set to make an incredible comeback in his sophomore year with the Ducks.
