Football fans and gamers alike are eagerly awaiting the release of the long-awaited EA Sports College Football game.
Oregon announced on Feb. 22 via X (formerly Twitter) that the Ducks will be a featured team in 2025.

Oregon's announcement pays homage to the games' signature intro phrase, 'E-A Sports, it's in the game,' which became a national tagline even after production of the game was shut down.
ES Sports announced that 134 FBS schools will be featured. This time around, players who opt to participate in the game as an NIL deal will receive a free copy alongside $600.

For players who don't opt in, their position will be represented by a generic player.
As players are set to hand over their name, image, and likeness, I'm curious if the Oregon Duck, lovingly referred to as Puddles, can get in on the NIL deal as well.
It has been an 11-year drought since EA released one of its NCAA games. The creation of the game was shut down due to fear of litigation claims.
