Heralded the team with a million uniform combinations and zero national titles, the Ducks never fail to bring the heat thanks to Nike. Fans aren’t always, well, fans of what the Ducks wear onto the field though.

Personally – in direct contrast with many fans’ opinions – I don’t love the eggshell uniforms. I am a part of the masses, however, in my love for the throwback unis that the team finally brought back this year.

So here it is. The ever-awaited ranking of the Oregon Ducks’ 2023 uniform combinations:

13. All-eggshell everything – L, 33-36 to Washington

Like I said, I don’t like the eggshell uniforms. They look messy, even when paired with the beloved chrome helmets. Oregon can do better and did better all season.

12. Green and yellow, kill a fellow – W, 55-10 over Hawai’i

I’ll be the first to say that Oregon doesn’t have the prettiest color combo in the nation. Something about the bright yellow and green combination just doesn’t sit quite right with me.

11. The bumblebees – W, 36-10 over USC

The Ducks look almost as bad as the Pittsburgh Steelers in their throwback bumblebee uniforms (which the Steelers got rid of).

10. Solid yellow for a solid start – W, 81-7 over Portland State

A whole lotta neon yellow led to the Ducks looking like highlighters in their win over the Vikings.

9. Silver and eggshell? – W, 49-13 over Arizona State

The reduction in eggshell amount gave these unis a big bump in my mind. The forest green pants bring the Ducks back to their roots of the Pacific Northwest.

8. Black-and-whites with green detailing – W, 35-6 over Utah

Week 8’s uniform combination lands at #8 in my ranking. Not bad, not great. Clean and simple good for the Ducks’ matchup against the Utes.

7. Green and white classics – W, 42-6 over Stanford

Repping a good amount of school spirit while traveling down to Stanford for the weekend. Always a crisp look for the Ducks. A win over the Cardinal didn’t hurt.

6. Dark green with chrome domes – W, 63-19 over Cal

I love the all-dark unis. While the color isn’t in the university’s institutional colors, it reminds me of the PNW and Autzen Stadium.

5. Frosty whites – W, 38-30 over Texas Tech

Wow, wow, wow. Oregon brought the cold to West Texas. These frosty uniforms iced out the Red Raiders in the 4th quarter to lead the Ducks to their win over the Big 12 opponent.

4.  All-Whites with a take on the Nike Air DT ‘96s – L, 31-34 to Washington

The Air Maxes give these uniforms a much-needed boost. Oregon alum and Pro Duck, Juwan Johnson even rocked them at the New Orleans Saints’ training camp.

3. Wade the Chameleon’s black and green – W, 42-6 over Colorado

Wade has sadly passed away since this iconic photo shoot but he left his mark with the temperature-sensitive cleats.

2. Honoring Spencer Webb in the Civil War – W, 31-7 over Oregon State

I was in school with Spencer. I’ll never forget watching him play and seeing him around Eugene. It means a lot to see the team continue honoring him. #4Spence

1. The Fiesta Bowl throwbacks for the new year – W, 45-6 over Liberty

My. Favorite. Oregon. Uniforms. Ever. The Ducks rocked these throwbacks twice this season and walked away with the win both times. See a trend? I do.
